I haven't been through any heavy weather yet, but it actually fits better than the last two (from different manufacturers) I tried. It just barely, by about an inch or less, was able to accomodate the total width across both of those oversized mirrors. Any less and I would have had to return it. It also did not take into account the front hood ornament on all of these cars. I will have to reinforce it underneath with a heavy tape to prevent a puncture. Other than that, my 3rd attempt, this time using your cover, is my most successful by far. P.S. The tie down string is pretty lame. Better to include none than that one.
